200 bucks in royal purple!!
I just had my Goerend triple discTC and high pressure valve body installed. Wow, what a difference that has made. That whackey hesitation between first and second gear under low throttle....completely gone. The shifts are now fast and crisp and the truck is definately puttig more power to the pavement with less throttle.
I was a little apprehensive because some people had said that doing a TC and VB was not enough and that the entire tranny should be replaced, but man it sure does feel nice now. I'll have to see how it tows and how long it'll last.
I had a DD Mag Hytec pan put on at the same time and the **** thing took 20 quarts of royal purple.....at 10 bucks per, that was 200 bucks in royal purple!!

Does your truck accelerate quicker, or does it just feel stronger? I would like to built up my tranny sometime soon So I am looking at different options

It accerates quicker with less throtle. I think this is because of the increased effiency of the TC.
For example, I have a long, steep driveway. The motor used to rev pretty hard to make the truck crawl up the driveway. Now the motor revs much much less to make the same progress up the driveway. It's a noticable improvement.
The shifts are very impressive. I have not fealt a shift like this since my hot rod days.....very nice.
