The rim size doesn't matter. Check the tire dealer website to get the actual tire height. A 35" tire is almost never 35".... I would say that 33.5" to 34" is the biggest you'll get on a stock suspension with no rubbing. Mine is at 33.5" tire height with only a skosh bit of rubbing on a full lock turn (the plastic fender liner in the front barely gets rubbed). 20" rims generally mean you will get a harsher ride (than a CTD truck? No way....) and more expensive tires....

I had 34.4"x 13.50's on my 3rd gen with a revtek leveling kit and they rubbed slightly. You can fit them with some minor cosmetic trimming. I also think that if you dont go as wide (like a 12.50) that you should be good. I also had 20" wheels but like sherrif said already, the wheel size doesn't matter.

it is the back spacing that will kill you. i have 33" with 2inch in the front and 2" in the rear and the only clear buy a 1/2inch on the fender when the wheel is turned. but ihave 4.5inch back spacing -19mm offset. so i have everything working agianst me getting bigger tires and my wheel is 9.5 inches wide

what about a small body lift like 2-3 inches for a little extra space between the tires and fenders. Anyone have a body lift in their truck is it ok to do does it cause problems cause I was thinking about doing a body lift myself for a little more hieght.

body lifts look really bad in my opinion..... but its up to you... you can clear 20's with 35 in toyo's without a problem if you get the right offset.......all you need is a leveling kit....
