I don't think it helps the P pumped trucks, but the VP44 trucks should benifit from the 2 cycle oil. I run 1oz to 1 gallon. No problems with it so far, but there is a little smoke. P pumps are engine oil lubricated, VP44's are fuel lubricated.

i ran 16oz in about 25 gallons once, didnt feel any difference, my fuel mpg is always good and didnt change. might have been alittle quieter, but then again that was only 16oz.

The cam is lubricated by the engine oil but the plungers and barrels that inject the fuel aren't.

I just finished running a tank with only powerservice in it down to almost 1/4, and I didn't add anything since the last fill up. Maybe the shift to cold temperatures is causing some of this, but it's amazing just how much louder the truck is right now compared to when I had been running consecutive tanks with 2 stroke oil in them.

I wish I had one of those decibel meters to see just how much quieter it runs when it's 2strokin again.

Decibel meter

You might try running by a local audio store... bet they have a meter for checking stereo's ...... If you do test the levels... post it back... would be REALLY curious

I use the gallon jugs of Wal-Mart's "SuperTech TCW-3" oil. I haven't seen any improvement in fuel mileage but it does seem to quiet the pump down a bit. I don't add it for the noise though, I just want to keep my pump happy.

i put 20oz to a full tank in the 03 shop truck w/530000 last fill up
i first thing i noticed was a decrease in engine noise at start up in the cold morning.
usually it pretty loud for 8-10 minutes in the morn when its cold.
it was only loud for like a minute or 2 before it quieted down.

i have to say it was a noticeable difference.........ill post if i get a mpg increase after i put a few hundred on it
