Jamie,

I'm pretty sure I saw someone post here not too long ago about NAPA selling ball joints that had a lifetime warranty on them. I think they were MOOG units if I remember right. Might be worth a look.

John

Thanks John unfortunately I don't think we have NAPA in canada or am I mistaken? Im not totally sure anyways I will have a look but most say that there is no aftermarket for the 02 front end because its so new. Anyone know if balljoints from older models fit?

Jamie here's a thought Are the A arms in stock at your dodge dealer and would they charge you restocking if you returned them? If they won't buy one take it to a auto parts store and physically compair balljoints from other years to see if it will work. Easyer to compair when parts are clean and yours is not sitting on a jack stand hoping to find something that fits.

Jamie, back when I was in law enforcement, I had to change to a bigger alternator in my personal truck. I checked with the State Police maintenance shop and they had several catalogs from various vendors. I was able to find one that fit my truck that was WAY bigger than those I could find in local parts stores. By the way, it was going into a Bronco, but you might try that idea. Good luck
Ed

Your alternator puts out 135 amps, what the heck do you need more power for? There will be more that just installing a HO alt. The Dodge alternator breaker is only rated for 135 amp (i think) and the wiring then may be too small also. Sounds like you need a Honda generator in the back!
Don't know about the ball joint thing on the 2wd but the 4X4 parts are a Dodge only item for the late 99 and up last time I bought them. You can try Lordco or UAP Nappa for parts.

Malcolm
