Here's mine. Two inch TopGunz Customs spacers, and 315 Hankook MT RT03s.

DO NOT USE A COIL SPRING COMPRESSOR, THEY ARE FOR STRUTS.
Unbolt the track bar and the springs will slide right in.

whats the difference.........a spring is a spring. Mine didn't come close to going in with everything unbolted and at full droop. if my trac bar was still bolted up the spring would never have gone in.

I put mine in a 6 point spring compressor then put the other outside one on them to get it to the truck.

I think with 2.5" your truck would sit nose up, even more so with a trailer. But OTOH 2.5" will decrease your chances of clearance problems with 35s. If it were me and I was going with 2.5", I would do something to the back end to raise it a bit, maybe a 1 or 2" AAL.

Although I dont reccomend this, I used a heavy duty ratchet stap to compress my springs. With the spacers installed there was no way the spring was going back in on its own.

The difference is I would rather have no pressure on the spring, then a compressed spring, just waiting to shoot across the garage and blow a big hole in the wall or worse. Don't get me wrong I have used them. In some applications it is unavoidable, but our trucks are not one of those situations, I have installed 15 leveling kits on 2nd and 3rd gens 1500-3500, and have never had a problem getting the springs back in, without a compressor.

It's 35% but it does look dark in that pic, look at the passenger side window, and you can see it is not really that dark. The quad door windows are factory tint, and the back is 20%.

Technically a 3" front leveling kit, nothing done in back, added a lot of shocks and stabilizers since then, tires are in sig, I love the look, but rubs barely when I turn full lock to lock
