2" leveling kit installed today, easy!
I put the 2" kit on today. After reading all the horror stories I was afraid to do it. But I did it anyway. I jacked it up, put 2 sets of stands under frame (safety first). Took the brake lines loose from frame and arms, took the nuts of the sway bar and let it float. Loosen the lines on the 4wd controls and chunk breather tube also. Then I followed the instructions. I used the factory jack to push the axle down enough to place the spacer, spring and rubber back in. Took about 45 minutes per side, including one bathroom break. The worst part is those heavy *&(* tires. Air tools greatly reduce the install time. If anybody has any questions I am happy to attempt to answer them. BTW, I went straight to GoodYear for alignment, I had it done 2 weeks ago and I wanted to know if the spacers altered the alignment. I guess the camber will be off very slightly, but we will know in about an hour.

I could not get the spring/rubber/2inch in at all. I did not have a coil spring compressor that fit the large springs we have. I felt like there was too much tension on the lines and it was easy enough to just take out 4 bolts rather than risk the catastrophic.

Oh yes, I almost forgot. The alignment was still perfect the kit does not in any way affect the alignment! I would have lost that bet. I just knew that something would change.
