Would this new tube really help that much? I just cant see my paying 125 bucks for a tube that may not do anything. BUT I can see my putting aside 125 for a triple disk....

I'd still like to see the new tube though.

Hey Mark,
Do you know what AFe considers a "highly modified" truck?
Bigger sticks, twins, stacked boxes or just an Edge Comp (or similar box), an intake and 4" exhaust?

Thanks,
~Rob

The stage 2 looks like a big expansion chamber to me! Alot like one for a snow mobile. I bought one but had to send it back as it would not fit around the actuater for the EB. Wound up going with the stage 1. After talking to a couple of dealers I have been told that if you lay the dyno sheets for the stageI over the top of the II it really doesnt make a whole heck of alot of difference.

jlipskoc,

Yep some errors there this is a pre distribution copy that they wanted us to look at and make any suggestions etc, we caught the same stuff. The final one will be corrected. I really didn't want to post it (Thanks Lary) because of the errors but so many folks e mailed and posted about pics I just said well OK here's goes maybe they will not notice, WRONG!!!!!

The bulge is there as the turn is so tight they had to do that do make it have the same amount of surface area and get it to flow correctly, looks funny but works well from what I have been told.

CSAGrey1,

You're right about the HP graphs, but the flow (CFM) difference is a significant amount. Air systems are HP makers but they are really there to help the turbo spool up and to drop EGT's by flowing the max CFM possible of air. We tell folks here to not buy a intake system for HP, buy it for spool up and EGT drop!

hey i got a question, where can you get this durn thing. I check Piers and they aint got it yet. I bet it will work really good with the new intake they got that has a 6 inch outlet out of the filter down to the 4 inch tube that goes to the turbo. we are gonna get them both once the new tube comes out. Hey maybe if they come out soon like before october 15 and can be t here before that, we could do a dyno comparison, Stock Vs. 2nd gen torque tube.

Cumminsdieselboy,

You can call us that's why I posted it so folks would know it was available and that we were selling them. We have sold the first order out but have more on the way and can have them shipped from the factory too. Plus we GUARANTEE the best prices per our pricing policy.
