Ok. I'm trying to get a nice balance of power and fuel economy since diesel here is approaching $3.50 a gallon!!!!!!!.

 

How hard is it to install the DV's? I saw Piers custom cut DV's (less smoke) and I'm in the market to gain power. The dodge is stored for the winter due to the availiability of other vehicles and the 50 cent jump in diesel fuel. I want to do DV, turbo and bump my injectors up again in spring. If i can do the DV's it'd make life easier, and cheaper.

 

Pull the lines off the pump, take off the holders, pull the old DV's out, put the new ones in, reassemble. Need the special splined socket to get the holders off.

 

Ya the price on diesel here went up to $3.50 yesterday. That really stinks !!!!

 

Im real happy with my 191's. Smoke isnt much worse than the 181's, and the power is up. Im gonne guess at least 30hp. It was very noticeable either way.
