19.5's road characteristics
I have been looking into these wheels for sometime now. I have read that they are very positive in many ways...road feel, weight capability, tire life...so on.
Just recently I read that unless you are really going to push the weight limits on your truck you are going to experience a rougher ride and tracking. If you're not going to do so...stay with OEM wheels and tires. Ride mannerism will be more agreable.
Because the side wall is dramatically less it transfers all the "road feel" to the driver. Where it is normally buffered in the 16's.
Those who run these wheels and tires...any comments.

I have had 19.5's on my truck for approx 15,000miles and the tread still looks new. The ride is about the same as with the 16's as far as the rear hitting bumps and so on, but the front actually feels softer. I also think that the truck feels better cornering than before and I have the peace of mind of thicker tire when towing. Check my photo for picks.
I hope this helped!
