Just bought a 97 dually with auto from a buddy for my shop truck. Couldnt stand it stock so i installed 370 inj, 191 dv, 14 ex. housing,4000gsk, 4inch down pipe into a 6inch single stack and advance timing to 16. This thing is a hot rod. I forgot ground my plate to 100 slid all the way forward and changed springs in AFC. Iam going to tune my plate a little cause my EGT is a little high. If you stay in it for a full quarter it will peg my 1500 pyro and boost is 45. but it is sure is fun to drive.

 

Are your turbo and tranny stock? I bet they're hating life.

Yes i realize thats to much boost for that turbo. And the tranny was beefed up with 3disc conv. The guy that built my trans also builds my trans for my 6 second dragster so iam sure it will hold up. I plan on changing turbos soon. There is way to many choices.

 

where did you get your tools to set your timing? and how much mula$

 

I own a diesel shop and iam a Cummins servce center. I bought it several years ago threw Cummins cant remember the cost SORRY
