12v guy needs help with 24v
One of my friends wants a little more sunff on his 2002 24v 6sp. pickup. He mostly uses it to drive to work, and just needs the power during the summer months when he pulls his camper. He would like more power while maintaing a little better mileage.
Here's what I am thinking.
-Smarty
-Boost/Pyro/Fuel Pressure Gauge
Does the smarty increase timing or what does it do. witch chip or combo would be the best choice for towing/mileage and still be easy on the VP44?
Sorry for the long post but any help is greatly appreciated.

The Smarty is easier on the VP44 because it doesn't tap into the wire like most fueling boxes. The Smarty adds timing on the odd number of settings ( I think I can't remember ) and fuel only on the even settings.
I think he'd be more than pleased with the Smarty for a little power boost.
