EGTs tell you if you have enough air, not boost. To much boost will push your turbo past it's efficiency map, not helping power, or turbo health. There is a point that you are compressing and heating the air to much.

Yes, I know these things. I didn't tell anyone that they needed to push their turbo farther. I am just asking for people to post their boost numbers along with their parts and dyno numbers. Boost does matter.

I agree it does matter, but it is not a necessary piece of the puzzle in this case, IMHO.

looks like a lot of you are pushing you timing perty high. i dont think i would wount to take mine over 16*. i dont wount to pop my head gasket.

what egt are you all running at this hp?

Last weekend I dynoed at 347hp/732tq
Ground fuel plate, 4" exhaust, Amsoil EAA filter in drilled factory airbox, everything else stock.

16.5 degrees
100 plate full forward
AFC reworked
Rips Twins
Valair Inc Clutch
181 DVS
370 marines

450 rwhp

Boost number at 55 psi....

RUnning another setup similar now with Dragon Flys and 191 DVs comin very soon... and a little bit more tuning.. FULL FORWARD is not best at everything.... it will put out the fire before the chargers light.. And yes i need more timing..
