12v dino #'s

what kind of dino #'s are you getting with your 12v's and how did you get it.

just getting ideas but only wount some that have done it not just saying it will work

Is yours a auto 180 pump or Stick 215 pump

97 180 auto Grounded #100 plate, AFC work, GSK washer Shimed, AFE, MBRP 5" Stock Timing....=280hp/685tq

98 215 Stick Grounded #10 Plate, AFC work, K&N, 3.5 Strait Pipe, Stock Timing....=313hp/Cant remember tq

2 customers trucks dynoed last weekend

I dyno'd 281hp/693tq with a 160 pump, 3k, 16* timing, and a 0 plate. Ill have new dyno numbers next weekend I have a dyno graph in my gallery

A ways back I dyno'd, 325hp, with banks plate about midway, afc midway, 14cm housing with banks bighead wastegate, intake/exhaust, 16.5* timing and 3k gsk.

i dyno'd 356 hp/694 ft-lbs ,96 12 v ,180 pump, 330 injectors, 3k gsk, 0 plate full forward, star wheel full forward,17* timming, hx-40 , in fourth gear, south bend ofe, 4.10 gears, 315 toyo m/t's

well it looks like everyone is hitting around 300hp+ -.
i have the 215 pump, 100 fuel plate and i was plaining on 370 injecters, 4gsk, htt 62/14(maybe twins). i am hoping to get around 450-500hp.am i to far off?

215 pump, 3k gsk, #10 plate, 191 DV's, PS62 turbo, F1 Hot Rod 370's, Timing set at 6.1mm = 531 RWHP.

How much boost did that run? You guys are listing your mods but not the amount of boost. I would find the boost numbers interesting.

Boost numbers are such an unimportant part of the equation. An example is I made 610 RWHP @ 42# on a VP truck, yet the above truck wa set to 45#..... Most guys tend to push too much boost and think they are getting a return on HP.

I did 412rwhp in 5th gear with a 98 215 5spd with a #10 and a BHAF Timing @ 23.5 - everything else stock - popped the head gasket at that set-up so take that as you will

But I know a guy pushing 45psi on his stock turbo! Who cares if it is hot air, hurting his power, and risking blowing up his turbo, its more boost than I have

Boost volume is important. You need the correct amount of air for the amount of fuel you dump. If you have too much fuel and not enough air and then you increase air you do get a return on HP. Different fuels provide different amounts of energy and require different amounts of oxygen.
