i own both a 12v and a 24v...i like the 24v much better.

That's right. The 24v's offer plug and play performance, which is adjustable from inside the cab. So it is nice. They flow more air and are therefore a "little" more efficient too, imo.

I wont be doing alot of towing. I will be towing my old mud buggy a bit as well as my Dakota project but that would be about it. I am looking at staying with a built auto as I plan on racing it a bit . How much more money are you looking at in building a 24V to do high 12's compared to a 12V . I also dont care for the idea of knowing that the pump is going to die

PS I dont have the budget for a 3rd gen and dont really care for them either.
