12mm or 14mm studs? I need opinions.
I have talked to Scheid diesel about there MLS headgasket for the 12valves. Now my question is why would they recommend using the 14mm studs over the 12mm studs? When I asked them they really couldnt give me an answer.
I know that the 24valve guys are running the Cometic MLS gaskets with only the 12mm studs and arent having problems.
I have read on here that the 14mm studs can warp the block.
What does everyone on here think? I feel that if the 12mm can hold a marinegasket and o rings it should hold the MLS gasket.
I dont know. I just feel that since Scheid has one of the big names out there they can tell you and charge you whatever they feel like.
Opinions please.

I am only running a HTT 62/14. I might someday run a S400 twin setup.
But still the Cometic 24valve MLS gasket is good for 80PSI and so is the Scheid diesel MLS gasket.
