12 valve #8 plate

12 valve #8 plate
I've got a #8 plate, and I want to slide it full forward. It's already as far forward as the guide that came with the plate allows, but the holes on the plate itself have plenty of room left to move. Can I just slide the plate as far forward as I can using the holes in the plate, or do I have to utilize the TST guide? Thanks! -Josh

The guide is to keep the plate in there "square" If you shove it forward, you can just max out the holes in both sides to keep it square
Slide that sucker...but make sure to check where the governor arm rides on the plate after you do!

While you're in there go ahead and take the plate out and make a 100 or a 0 out of it My truck had a #8 in it when i bought it but we put a 0 in there and it really woke it up

It all boils down to how much of a gambler you are.

yeah- got Diprocol Optix gauges. Installing them now too! We slid it some, just to see how much difference it makes, and then we'll go back and make changes. Thanks!
What's the difference between the 10 and 0 plate? I've seen how to grind the 100 from a #10.
