Talking #10 vs #100

What is the big dif between a 10 and 100 plate. and witch is better for towwing heavy loads?

I wouldn't even consider a 100 for towing unless you like looking at your pyro all the time and controlling egts with your foot. #10 is the best all round plate.

Yes I agree that is a great picture! Here is another picture of what my plate looks like. I took my stock plate and ground it mysefl on a grinder wheel, then made it nice and smooth with a dremel. Obviously it did not cost me one single penny, and it made a HUGE difference in power! I tow a 4500# boat with no problems, and the smoke is minimal if I drive normal. Just thought I would post it up as another option for you....a very CHEAP option

One more thing, for a 0 can you just leave the plate out?

Nope

your EGTS will be very very hard to manage, and uncontrolable, and you risk damaging pump internals as well. The 0 plate is just there to prevent that sort of damage. I have run plateless before and it was just insane..

I towed a 28ft enclosed car trailer with a mustang, tv, generator and a bunch of tools.... pulled like u know what.... egt's may have spiked 1000* going up a decent grade ( and it's full forward).... i know from first hand experience that my truck will now run circles around my friends PSD... i knew before but i KNOW now.... 100 plate towing.... i'd try it... hold on... i did....
