To state the obvious, something is wrong somewhere. Stock trucks make around 18lbs or so. 20 is you get them wound up.

How does it feel power wise? If it is really only making 10lbs then its not getting fuel and should be a slug.
Its possible that the gauge is trash or the installation was botched and there is a leak somewhere in the line to your boost gauge.

The fluttering is normal, just some boost slowing the compressor down. A bark would be bad.

First off, welcome to DTR....you will love it here. 2nd, please turn your CAPS lock off! It is giving me a headache!

As to your boost issue, assuming the wastegate is not seized in an open position, there is most likely a fueling issue. By the sounds of it, you are refering to having an Edge Comp on level 5? If you fill out your sig we will have a better idea as to the specifics of your truck and the mods you have.

What gauges do you have other than boost? Hopefully you have a fuel pressure gauge and a pre turbo pyro? If so what is the fuel pressure at? What are your egt's at when you are at WOT with 10 psi of boost?

You need to verify that your lift pump is working and at what pressure.....and before you do anything else, check for DTC's (Diagnostic Trouble Codes). If you have good fuel pressure and the wastegate isn't stuck in an open position, there will most likely be some DTC's.

The fluttering sound is typical from the turbo when you let off the throttle too quickly at high boost. It is a boost pressure reversion and isn't harmful at these boost levels......one interesting thing to note is that a stock turbo at 10 psi of boost will tend not to be flowing enough air to cause an audible fluttering or "bark" from the turbo.

Edge Comp on 5x5 but only making 10psi of boost would be a smoky, SMOKY machine at WOT (no to mention a little hot on EGT).

Check all of your connections from the turbo through the intercooler to the intake horn. Maybe sure you don't have a damaged boot, or a loose connection somewhere, that would cause you to lose most of your boost.

Exactly. Your boost gauge isn't reading correctly.

i would trace your air line from your engine to your boost guage. those are pretty easy to get kinked.

Yikes! That is getting potentially very hot. Post turbo temps can vary 200 - 500 degrees. The probe really should be pre turbo in order to obtain a reasonably accurate reading.

It does sound as though the truck is running fine.....as Eskimo mentioned, look at the gauge plumbing and verify that it is ok.

I bought a little Parker fitting for my boost line that you just push the line into and you are done, i over torqued the compression fitting and crushed the small end of the boost line. the push in fitting works great.
try your local parker distributor for one. i think the size is 1/8" NPT x 1/8" hose.
