#10 plate setup
OK guys and gals you can see by my post my setup, I want to put in a #10 plate because I am told a #6 wont work with a 3k kit I am installing. With stock exaust and pulling 20k where do I put this plate, center or what so I DONT BURN THIS PUPPY DOWN. Yes I do have a pyro but I would like to get it right the first time. Help me get it close please.

I don't see why the 3k kit won't work with your #6, I put one on my truck first, before I did any other mods, and it worked just fine. If your 6 is in the stock location, just put the 10 in the same place, or maybe back .010 or so?

Yes centered or back a bit you mite have to play with it a some I could see you having some EGTs on a hard pull. Mine would hit 1200 with a 10 slid full forward and I do not tow.

There is no reason why a 3000GSK won't work with a #6......I had a #6 with the GSK for a while and it worked great.......the #6 will be somewhat easier on the drivetrain on the low end than the #10 but top end fueling is similar........I would go with the #10 anyway if you already have it - makes the truck very snappy down low! ......do yourself a favour and get 4" exhaust as it will knock about 200* out of your egt's.......I would start with the #10 exactly where your existing plate is and go from there.......you will probably not get it exactly where you want it the first time but the stock position will be a good baseline.
