1.6s are in!
Installed the injectors this morning... SWEET!!! The job wasn't bad at all, took 3 hours from the time I popped the hood to the time I started the truck, and I was taking my sweet time because this is the first time I've pulled the valve cover off anything. I think I've pretty much reached my goal of what I had envisioned my truck to be. With my current trailer (21' Weekend Warrior) I think I'll be able to pull every grade as if it wasn't even there... and that's what I've been wanting. I hope to have the truck dynoed within the next few weeks.
Should the day ever come when I start a family and require a larger, heavier, trailer which may slow me down on the hills... well... I'll cross that bridge when I come to it.

I haven't been able to find much info on the 1.6's. How much different are they than the 1.5's or the 2.0's. I'm curious because I think that's the route I might go once I get my tranny done. How are your temps? Your just running the stock HX-35/12 right? Should be OK I'd think.
Thanks for any info. Doug
mkrenn, I beleive he's running F-1's Mach 1.6's

I don't believe there's much info available. I was ready to buy 1.5s until someone on this site mentioned the 1.6s. I sent a PM to Don M and he describes the 1.6s as a few more HP with slightly lower temps (compared to the 1.5). That was good enough for me! One phone call later to Rip, and the 1.6s were on the way.
I've only had the injectors in since this morning, wide open from a stop, EGT hit 1200 (HX35, Scotty II no hole, 3" straight-pipe). Haven't towed yet, but I don't anticipate a problem.
