I only have a few Banks parts and they suit me well....IDk about the whole powerpak idea.... Did all the work myself, installed everything on my own, made my own exhaust....Love the Brake tho.... Read my Sig for what banks parts i have!

I have a banks kit...

Thats about all i know i have in the truck, ITS FAST.. Considerable versus compared to a stock, but being new to the dodge world, I do want to upgrade my banks kit, most everyone knows that but my clutch is slipping already, with the fuel plate off center. I want a #10 fuel plate, a GSK 3000, a southbend clutch, a scotty II ram air, or AFE megacannon, with some injectors, and a tuned up pump... Im sure that will get me over 350 HP, right now i probly have about 275-300 on estimate.. Ultimately my target #'s will be 450 HP and 1000 TQ.... or more... I will Dyno it and put numbers, but my clutch will slip alot.. I honestly have no basis of comparison, but i do outrun some around here... Im impressed, i love my truck!

Because the truck came with the kit, i dont complain i just enjoy what came with it already.. but like everything else.... there is always room for improvement......

I know its wrong of me to follow my own post..

SOrry guys, I rate my powerpack a 10, basically cause it came with the truck... i love it, it pulls well, runs well, and the only problem i have with it is a slipping clutch if i really get on it, if not its fine and dandy...

On another note, how much $$ would i need to reach 450HP and 1000TQ? that is my ultimate goal for this truck This will occur after i graduate college and get a much better job though.. Im happy with what it is at right now.. But i want

370 Injectors
Scotty Ram Air
#10 Fuel Plate
Timing set to (undecided)
GSK 3000
Southbend clutch...
AFE megacannon (if i dont go with scotty)
Turbo? (it spools up quick as it is the way it is, i believe its a stock with a 16cm housing the only thing that came with the powerpack) Might get somethin that will handle 50-55 Boost, if the stock will crap out... and i honestly dont want twins.... dunno why though.. Plus i tow ALOT (two horse, 16 foot flatty not loaded with more than 4K 99.99 percent of the time is what i tow....)

This will be a process, which i cant begin right now, but how much do you think we are talkin to still do this and keep the truck as my DD? cause i love it and i dont think ill sell it.. Just make it better...

the 3K GSK and the #10 plate really wakes up these trucks. If you could do the scotty, then those two, that would be a great improvement.

One Question would a stock auto trans hold up if i put a 3k gsk and a #10 plate in it?

 

Yea, it should be fine. Those were my first mods without the tranny rebuild and everything was fine, little or no slippage. And they really make the engine come alive!

I spent less than $1700, and more power than the PowerPack. Having a tranny built for my truck, too. Can't take the power.
