under the fuel filter canister is post filter....if you go that way, it will help diagnose a dirty fuel filter. Post filter is probably the most common and definitely the best way to go, IMHO.

Any down side to using the banjo bolt on the VP44? It's also post filter and a lot easier to get at.

Only downside I can see, if you still have oem fp, is if you take your truck to the dealer for fp problem, the schrader is where the tech would perform flow test. Dunno if having a line for your gauge would cause problems??????

Your right the valve does go right thru that bolt. I may have to go back to the bottom of the filter canister. I would like to keep the valve available and intact if I ever need it.

What does the schrader valve look like?I saw the little hole with the shiny ball bearing looking deal in it?Or is that something else.Also ,I saw a little plug that looked like it can be removed for something.What are these?
