02' engine mods
Just paid off my 02' QCSB 4x4 last fall and finally have some cash to do some engine mods. I have no clue on where to start. The truck is completly stock with the exception of a 4" exhaust and a fuel pressure gauge. What should I do first in order to gain some more HP.

full set of gauges would be good. also need to ask yourself what is your goal. little bit more pep, better mpg. towing etc. also pending your miles and wear and tear, there are good upgrades you can do for your steering and suspension out there. also there are some as they say mild to wild performance upgrades you can do. either a auto or 6 speed manual there is a point when you need to address these areas if you start adding power/fuel etc. also upgrading your fuel system. these systems are prone to failing due to a slowly dying fuel pump that can cause havoc on your injection pump. what are your numbers your seeing on your Fuel pressure on full throttle etc.
www.genosgarage.com is a good place to look for some goodies and items to keep your truck going and to get a free catalog. fill out your signature with your truck. also have you had any past major repairs or are you having any bad syptoms. the main thing before you drop some cash is research and do it once and do it right. (dont ask why I know) really ask yourself what you would like to get out of the truck.
