02 cruse control

Hello new member hear. I am wondering if you could help me out I am working on a 02 ram 2500(BR) (truck in sig) the cruse is not working. I am using a 12v tps, which after a little adjustment the trans is shifting good. I have vacuum at the servo and the light douse come on in the dash win you turn on the cruse, but It just wont do any thing. I did replace the hoe servo because the old one had so much corrosion built up and still no cruse and I did check cods(there were a lot but that is expected due to ppump swap) there were 3 idle validation code that stood out to me. is that possible that is my problem?
oh i did try to search but it found no results.
thanks

Could be a bad brake switch.
Sometimes you can diagnose it by lifting the brake pedal with your foot when engaging the cruise. You have to be going at least 35 mph.
A new switch is $12 from Napa.

I did check the brake switch and the cruise did not work, so I don't know I guess I need to re look at my wiring although trans still shifts good.

thanks
