On the 24v's it has an idle assist kind of deal. Put the 24v in first gear and let the clutch out slow with no accelerater, and you'll see the computer equalize the RPM to compensate for the drop. If you do the same on a 12v you'll see its harder because it doesn't automaticly bring up the RPM.

Not bad big blue24, sounds like you are perfecting your launch and shifting and the rv's seemed to help your time a bit.

I never put much faith in the attitude timer on our 2003, but it can hang with cars that run in the 5's 0-60.

I never timed my motorcycle, but I could hit 45 mph across an intersection, should make for a good time.

Okay, you all were right, I do have 3.55 gears, I guess that I am blind. Yeah launch is a big part of the time savings. I bet with the HOT upgrade I could be more like 7.7 since I shift around 3000 R's and I defuel around 2700 R's. These RV's did help a lot... but they don't really scream till the turbo lights, i wonder if any injector makes good power till the turbo blows some air in the mix?

In a short race, my CR 250 dirtbike is faster than most 600 bullet bullet bikes. I can stay in front till the end of third gear when they go screaming by at 100 mph and I'm just grabbing 4th gear. Now a much bigger R1 or Ducati will take me off the line and never look back.

I've checked my attitude timer several times, it is right on if you adjust the tire size correctly. I like it cause' i can tell what improves my time the most.... A slipped clutch start nets me faster times since the engine doesn't bog off the line till the turbo lights. Too much slip equals horrible time since clutch heats up and slips whole run. Too much dumpage equals break loose rear end then bog as it catches traction or slip clutch a little as it hooks up with the asphalt. Good thing I have a new Feramic Clutch sitting in my room at the foot of my bed, just waiting for the old one to totally smoke since I don't like to lugg around extra parts.
