Are you up for a riddle

Ok there are 2 rooms.

In one room are three light switches.
In the other room are three lights.

You are in the room with the light switches and the door is closed between you and the room with the lights.

You must figure out which light switch controls which light.

You can only go through the door one time.

You can do anything you want with the light switches. But once you walk through the door once, you must be able to tell which switch controls which light for all three switches and lights.

I'll give you the answer tomorrow
(hint) it's NOT a play on words

Re:Are you up for a riddle

I would turn on one light for about 15 minutes, then shut it off. Turn on another switch for say 15 seconds then turn it off. Next, I would run next door and see which is the hottest- that would be switch #1. Warm one would be #2 and the cool one would be 3. Close?? :P

Re:Are you up for a riddle

I'd have never got that one. We don't have switches, just them long pull chains.

Re:Are you up for a riddle

Actually, since you can do anything with the switches, why not just wire all the lights up to one switch and you wouldn't need to even go in the other room.

Morph.
