Heh-heh, I was just messin' with y'all, trying to get your goat, yanking your chains. I do too know what a redneck is, and a hick and a hillbilly and a country gentleman and a few other kinds of 'folks' that I can't mention on this site. Unfortunately/fortunately I meet enough of the criteria to fit many of the above descriptions. Guess if I was to lump all of you under a single category it may be called "different". I like "different" folks, normal folks are boring!
If I do not quite fit any category, does that make me a proud misfit?

I am a decidely Southern Ozarks hillbilly which qualifies me as a redneck in every state I was in while serving in the military according to the local population. And if that isn't enough the back window of my truck has a Got Mules sticker and the rear license plate says mule power even though I currently own more horses than I do mules.

I'd consider myself more of a country boy / hick. I don't really fall into the "redneck" category

Well, hey, there Colorado hick!

I found out this morning that I'm going to Bath, Maine in two weeks on work. It sure is funny to hang out with those Navy guys up there. They don't quit know what to think of rednecks! I don't think it gets much more Yankee than Maine...at least not any farther North on the map! And those turds never have Coors original....they only have unleaded...sissies.....

Is my son a "Red Neck" ???

Went to visit my son in Missouri for Christmas. My truck is 13-6 high and a couple of his trees did not clear it. Cut some but could not reach two of them. He says "got to go git the tree cutter" Comes back with the shotgun and blew them away.

Raised in Alabama and has to go to Missouri to be a Red Neck..... jeez

Upstate New York (everything NOT New York city) has roughly six million people. The largest county (Saint Lawrence up North) has five thousand.
Agriculture is the number one business.

New York city has over seven million, and we swear, every one of them vote! anything on tv is from New York city. the counties outside the city
got the laws changed that seven acres or less is a farm if you can produce more than 50,000 dollars worth of products. that supplies the NYC restaurants alone. it is NOT farming the way everyone else in New York state does business.

what is a Yankee? yeah, besides the snobs with money and attitude, that think people who weans jeans should work for them- it is anyone who has never tasted SWEET tea!!!
Paris Hilton my rear!!!! Pul eeese! I work for a living and have mud on my boots 90 percent of the time!

COORS??! that's like the bottled water they sell out West right?
and Yeah- all the Army folks KNOW that the Ozark mountain boys are hicks! God Bless 'em all! they were the snipers!!

Lived half a year in Buffalo, NY and half in Wartrace, Tennessee besides being CONFUSED I have to say I side with the South and married a hick (so true, very sexy guys )

Most don't that I've found. They have every product that Bud makes... and a bunch of micro-brews that make me ralph.

Yip. Good ol' "cowboy and rodeo" beer. If you ask them for Coors Extra Gold (my personal fav) they have no clue.
