Re:Years of marriage

30 years on Sept. 30th for the bride and me. I married the girl I took to the Senior Prom. It's been a scenic drive so far. ;D

Re:Years of marriage

Looks like I'm the leader at this point with 40 years of marriage ... same lady. We established at the very beginning who the boss was going to be. I had her down on her knees begging to me, "Get out from under the bed and fight like a man!"

Jerry

Re:Years of marriage

My Grandmother who was 67 and in good health passed away last month after over 40 years of being married to my grandfather who is 68. It is the saddest thing I've ever seen. I just can't imagine being with someone for over 40 years and with no warning one day the other is suddenely gone. I've been spending as much time with my grandpa as I possible can but I don't think he will ever be the same.

Yep back about 15yrs ago my Grandmother passed away at age 69. Her and my Grandfather were married for over 48yrs
I lived about 120 miles from him and tryed to call and see him as much as I could but after
two or so yrs later he passed away in his sleep.

And like you said about your grandpa never being the same
mine was the same way so sad to see it happen to the ones we love.

Ron.
