Yamaha Grizzly

i went to go start in this weekend since it has been cold and nothing, battery is good and it is in the right gear but not start. ive been told the gear position sensor is no good?.......is this true?

Have you tried starting in Neutral instead of Park?

My grizzly is a little sensitive to this too-you may think it is in the right gear, but if the gear display is not lit up, try rocking it back and forth until it pops into park and lights up the gear selection display-then hopefully it should start right up.

That, or just squeeze your rear brakes. My '03 will start in either Park or Neutral, or any gear as long as you have the rear brakes engaged.

cool....i will try. sometimes it does this and then i can get it to work but now it wont.
