WOW!!!! When Was The Last Time You Seen This?

Between last night and today's travels, I have traveled from Stillwater north to the Kansas line, and then south to OKC and back. The cheapest #2 diesel is in Perry, OK at $2.51. All others including the large truck stops like the Love's and Flyin' J are all still above $2.65. This $2.51 was at the Mr. C's actually in Perry, 2 or 3 miles east of I-35.

I know this thread is a couple of weeks old, but here in Greenville, NC, they just opened up a new gas station, a Sheetz station. Clean place, lots of pumps. They just opened up yesterday, and the price of gas at that station was $2.19/gallon, compared to the local Wilco-Hess(Trade Marts) that have been keeping gas around $2.39-2.49. The gas station across the street from the Sheetz lowered its price to $2.19 last night also, when the Sheetz's parking lot was full. Sheetz also had diesel for $2.59, compared to Trade Mart's $2.74. I found this out AFTER I had put $30 worth of fuel into my truck .
Went to class this morning, noticed the gas prices were the same as the day before-2.38- at the Trade Marts, and they were the same when I came home around 11am. My roommate left around 12, and said Trade Marts price was now $2.09. I noticed all the gas stations on the way back to class were at $2.09. Well, after going to work, I went to the Sheetz, just to check their prices, and it was $1.99/gallon and even with all the stations around it at the same price, they were slam packed, and diesel was still $2.59. My girlfriend filled up in Raleigh today for $2.49/gallon, I told her to wait, prices were going to probably drop below $2 by the weekend, and sure enough, it did, and man, is she ******.
Sorry for the long post, I'm just excited that a new to the area gas station has come along and forced Trade Mart to lower their prices, they seem to be guilty of price gouging, considering all the outside towns/cities had cheaper gas long before we did. I'm excited to see how low it will go, it may even go a little cheaper this weekend, because we have a huge football game coming up(ECU vs WVU), and there will be plenty of people in town that will need to fill their station.
Here is the link to the gas prices in the area, there is a pretty good spread there: http://www.northcarolinagasprices.co...rea=Greenville
