Google "jeep forums". Then join every free one you can, and put a link to your ad in their For Sale forums. It will get your ad views way up. Think about how you would go about looking for a good truck for sale, look at a site like this, right? Jeep guys do the same thing. It worked for me.

I had another thought 04CTD, have you considered putting it on a local dealer lot? Dealers here do for $25-$40 above what you ultimately take for it. Charges vary dealer to dealer but if a dealer offered you 22K not long ago because they had a customer, that customer may still be around.

nah, you are where people are honest & decent.

in 'big cities' they have to make $2k on a deal to even mess with it.
wife's worked several dealerships.

consignment is a pain.

i been praying about it. just want to be in God's will, he might have some purpose for it i can't see.

i hate to spend ~80 ~100 bucks trying to sell it, and it's out of the will,
and the money is out of my pocket

aredtke, that's pretty much spamming a forum, and most sites won't let you post FS until you have ~50 posts on their forum for that reason.

if it don't sell off autotrader (the autotrader ad is in the 300 mile radius for Boone NC, btw) i will try and e-bay it.

a *&% waste of $45.

i've been offered 22500 and 21500 on trade.
crap.

whatever, prayed about it, put it on there, it did not sell,
just suffer with it.
God might have a plan for it in my life.

I sold my 95 ram gasser on Autotrader last month. I think it was $44 to run for 12 weeks and I could post 9 pics on my ad. I'd use them again.

Or could be teaching a lesson about spending about $30K on the single least justifiable vehicle purchase in all of the US-- a Jeep Wrangler. Any jeep is a luxury item

God WILL honor your desire to please Him. Maybe use the Jeep as like a "trail Angel" that will rescue people who exceed their vehicle's offroad prowess?

hohn - YOU ARE INFIDEL - not true to jeep legacy!

<in Mr. Miaggi/karate kid voice>
you uh do not deserve to own honorable jeep vehikkle!!!

i have to agree with the jeep motto, because I don't understand.
the MPG sucks, the aerodynamics suck, and why BUY a vehicle to see how much you can break it?

thanks for the good words, we are just holding on.

Sale

I listed my truck, 98 dodge ram 2500 V-10. Quad cab 8 foot bed, SLT. Only had 80 thousand miles on it, listed it for 12,000 cause I needed to get rid of it ASAP (before the new one came in) Guy bought it for 12 in texas, flew all the way up to Rhode Island and drove it home. All depends in how serious of a buyer you find. I used to hate that too, you get the, can I test drive it, and they show up in a car that you wouldn't want to run over with in your truck, but you know. Anyway good luck with it.

I think your Ebay ad would have had more luck with higher res images. I think forming complete sentences with capital letters and having some format to all the text would have also helped. The ad doesn't have a single word about the condition of the vehicle. There isn't one positive word about it either. You have to give a little more effort to "sell" the stuff in my opinion.

I always host my own images and put lots of high resolution images. I've sold a few motorcycles on ebay and I recently sold my 2003 Nissan Frontier on cars.com within a week of posting it. I've solds over a hundred other items on ebay as well. It's been a good experience for the larger sales.
