That video is hilarious. Though I have used Vista since May with absolutely no problems at all. In fact my laptop has never crashed (knock on wood) though I attribute this to never going to **** sites on my laptop. I have a special computer for that. I also only use Firefox. I never use IE.

As far as I'm concerned, Vista is the most stable operating system that I have used so far. It has worked flawlessly since I bought my laptop. I'm not saying it is perfect by any means, but it has been better than XP or 98SE ever was. That is good enough for me.

I'm in need of a new laptop but I just can't bring myelf to getting Vista. Virtually none of my current applications will run under Vista, or so I'm told. I have too many $$$'s in software and gadgets that run of XP to make the change. While it may be a really stable operating system, it is just not my cup of tea yet. I have found that if you are willing to wait for delivery, ALL of the computer companies WILL sell you a new computer equipped with XP, so a special order may be my direction, but no Vista at this time. It takes about a year for software companie, etc to gear up anyway, and many are saying that it will be more like two years.

I have never had mine crash. I just dont see why I have to be second guessed for every semi-important decision I make. I also dont understand why it requires at LEAST 1G of ram to operate at any somewhat decent speed!

Unfortunately the mac was about twice as expensive as my laptop running Vista. I haven't found any compatibility issues with Vista yet and I personally couldn't be happier. I would love to have a Mac but just can't see spending the extra money for one.

I used Netscape, formerly WMconnect.com, for years. When I got my new notebook, Netscape wouldnt run. I called Netscape and learned there were no plans to update for Vista. They said I should change to another server.

I did. I also had to download new drivers for my printer.

Vista is the worst Operating system they have ever released..

I am a SYS Admin, and Network Admin and if you try to get Vista to work in side a business you are in for a sore experience.

Lets just say I just bought all new pcs for the company and Yes I put XP on them..

I have a machine with Vista on it that I use everyday and it terrible.. ( I hate having to be the guinea pig on new stuff)

PS: MAC still is the best hands done..

As someone with Vista at home, saying this was being very nice about it. Microsoft needs to apologize for producing such a product.

I cringe everytime I go into the lab to see if my proto hardware is still running with Vista. Between the new chipsets, bloated Vista and alpha drivers I never know what to expect. I see more BSOD is one day than most people see in a lifetime.

Hehe- Gentoo Linux....

I've deployed vista in a customer's company- they insisted, massive rollout etc. (You know, when the CEO insists on cutting edge technology...)

Now I've re-deployed XP Pro, I really like the way it runs on Vista-ready machines after a clean install...

No Vista for me, XP only.
AND DEFINITELY no Macs, I'd run vista first.
Shoot, I'd get a v-8 diesel before i got a Mac
