Factory tint is around 15%. Do it like I did mine... Tint it all the way around 5%. It will look sweet on your black truck.

Yup..
35 percent is the legal limit in texas in the front windows. I had my fronts and rear windows tinted to 20 percent tho. i will be honest i have trouble at times seeing at night, and i have issues with the local DPS officers around here as well as the cops. But it is nice to have my privacy, and keep out the hot hot sun here in Ldo. so it has its pro's and con's..... Im happy with it tho...

Whoever at DC decided to put clear glass between two tinted windows is an idiot So hen I spec'd my truck I insisted on the sliding rear window, since it ais the only way to get tinted back glass... I wanna have the fronts match the rear windows....I dont wanna go crazy with the 5% thing, since in illinois ANY aftermarket tint is illegal...Period, The End...I dont think I'll have any hassle around here anyway...None of the cops around here, save for maybe a couple of troopers, have tint meters....However northern IL is another story...

I have 20% over the rear doors, 5% on the front doors, and two sheets of 5% on the back glass due to the back glass not being tinted from the factory. I have no problem backing up. You just have to roll the windows down enough to see the mirrors at night. The front and rear match almost perfect.

I have 20% on the fronts and it can be a bear to see out of them at night, especially for backing up but I think a set of auxiliary backup lights would cure that.

well i have the lights, so thats not a problem
my wife has like 10% wall to wall on her car, and neither of us complain a bit...I dont think 15% will be too much
I think alot has to do with the dash lights...If they're bright, you get alot of reflection, etc...I like my lights dim anyway, so I shouldnt have problems
