i can't hear it at work
I tried to get him to go four inch...all the Camaro's came stock with 3 inch, and the big boys stepped up to four inch.
that four inch usually supports well over 400hp in the LSX motors.
be LAF on a gasser, though.
i had three inch on my last gas truck, a Borla setup.
it was quite at idle, nice deep rumble, then a growl going up, and a whole lotta roar on top.
they called it 'the borla baby' in our little town,
for about 3 months, every time you parked it, there would be feet sticking out from under it, as everyone had to SEE what made it sound that good.
my daughters loved raggin on guys with that truck.
it was an awesome setup. wife totalled that F-150, and i sold the exhuast to a guy with a chebby. it had more in-cab resonance than Apollo 13 on the chebby

You wanted me to go 4" pipe... nope, I don't think that it sounds too good on low HP vehicles... too hollow.
