Just out of curiosity, why don’t you see many Chrysler/Dodge Cab-Forward design cars on the road anymore? I mean, they sold many 300m’s, Concords, and Intrepids but think about it, how many do you really see running around anymore? Were they just so bad that they didn’t last? Really, it wasn’t that long ago that they were out there so where did they go? I saw a 300m last night on the way back from a run and it just got me thinking. My grandfather has an Intrepid but he is the only one that I know of. I see older Mustangs, Camaros, Crown Vics, Lincoln Town Cars, Chevy, Dodge, and Ford Trucks but not one Cab-Forward design car running around out there. I think that might be a testament of why Chrysler has such horrible resale value with their cars.

I don't know about their cab forward cars but I also have a 2005 Dodge grand caravan and I don't think I'll ever buy another one. Bought it new and have had it in for warranty work more than i'd like. The biggest of which was a new transmission at 38,000 miles. Warranty runs out at 75,000 miles, it has 52,000 on it now and I know I owe more on it than it's worth. Not very reliable and terrible gas milage. (15 city) When we go on a road trip we take my truck. All 5 of us in a quad cab and we go to Colorado 2X a year.

Um explain what a cab forward means please. Been a long day for me. Britt, I know how you feel, 3 calls for the volunteers and I wasn't able to do anything. Now add 8 hours of work (with no lunch as a call came in there) and almost 5 hours of baling= very tired......

My MIL has a 95-96 Intrepid with close to 300k mi on it now and that car has been flawless for them. She drives about 100mi round trip to work every day and other than regular maintenance, the car has only had the intake manifold gasket and fuel pump replaced. It's actually on of the most dependable cars I've seen.
Not saying they're all good and they're pretty fugly too!

Cab forward refers to the "LH" cars that Chrysler debuted in 1993 with the Chrysler Concorde/Dodge Intrepid/Eagle Vision.
They also had the larger models: the LHS and New Yorker.
My grandfather's LHS has been a creampuff it's whole life. Always 30mpg hwy (at 62mph, though).
I think they might really be junk, but who knows? My gramps can get any vehicle to last forever.
