So sorry about Leevi's downturn. You've got a good Vet and God's looking in.
Prayers are with you, family and Leevi.

The only thing he will go to is 3-4 pieces of his dry food, and Gerber graduates hot dogs(yes baby food).I am so worried!!!
He is now losing some of his hair also. The meds that he is on is doing that.

Thank you again for All of Your Alls Prayers and Support! Cin and Family!

So sorry to hear this. Me and my wife's dogs are such a big part of our lives too. We had one (Zeus) with health trouble when he was young. We prefer to remember that he got a month more of extra love from us that some others wouldn't have bothered with, given his prognosis. We also firmly believe that the dogs we have now are giving us double the love on the behalf of Zeus.

Peace be with you and your family, prayers have been sent.

I need to do this so bear with me please.

Leevi went to puppy heaven this morning at 9:22 am . He was in my arms up until it was time to sleep. He brought all of us so much joy and love! I'm having him cremated. He will be home soon.

Cindy, I'm so sorry to hear about the loss of your puppy . I know its not easy and well it just plain sucks to not have that special friend wagging has tail around you when you get home. I'm glad to hear you were right by him at the time of his death, I'm sure he was very comfortable and died peacefully.

Hang in there .

Sorry to hear that Cin. I know it's tough. I had to put one of my girls down about 5 years ago. I also had her cremated. My original idea was to sprinkle her ashes at her favorite places ( mountains, beach, etc). I tied her bandana around the urn and placed her dog tags on top until I was ready. Well it's been 5 years and I still haven't been able to bring myself to it. All of our thoughts and prayers are with you. I do understand.

Cindy, I've followed this post and was praying for your family. Find strength in your friends and remember the blessings Leevi brought to you. He was on loan from the Lord, and you were a good steward.

Cin, really sorry to read the news. This brings back horrible memories of having to do the same thing with not one of my dogs, but two of them. The pain you will feel is all too real and will stay with you for a long time. Just when you think you are getting over the worst of it, something will happen to jog a memory or two and the pain comes back with a vengeance.
The good news is the pain does diminish in time and then you will start to have fond memories of the good times you had with Leevi. You and your family will laugh again - trust me on this.
Chin up girl.
