Who can recommend a good MOS for daughter going into Army?

Red's right.
Here is what i found out after 20 years in Submarine Communications:
--the Civilian work force don't use none of the eqpt we used.
--the skills i gained are not needed by civilians.
--the communications modes and nodes were outdated (for most part)
the only place i could find a job was a job that:
-provided
-repaired
-planned for
-upgraded
the equipment that i used.
so i am hesitant to recommend a job, knowing that it kind of locks you into that job/equipment/career field forever.
i think air traffic control would be tough too, there's only so many airports, and they might be at a tough location.
she could do medical, but doesn't want to just yet. she's supposed to get on www.goarmy.com and look at the job fields soon.
keep the input coming, i want to set her up to succeed.

MOS 25B is good. It's in the Information Technology field and deals with commercial off the shelf computer stuff.
MOS 94A is a Land Combat Electronic Missile Systems Tech. Work with TOW, ITAS, Javelin. Lots of electronics, mechanical, Infrared, lasers, optics, and thermal imaging. While the equipment isn't used in the civilian market, the skills you gain are used a bunch and the applications are moving to the non military side more and more.
Shortround out

Depending on her ASVAB scores, she could pretty much do whatever she wants! I would recommend the Air Force out of all the branches. Especially for a technical job. The Air Force has the best of everything. If I had it to do all over again, that's the route I would of went!

The AF is not really accessible.
the AF recruiters really won't talk to anyone, they don't want people,
they pretty much are not friendly.
the Army was pretty friendly, and with the 20k sign on bonus, looks to be a good move
tks Shortround, knew I could count on you...
