White Christmas

In my 25 years of living on the Texas coast, we have never had snow. Well, it snowed once back in the 80's, but it didnt stick.

Well, that all changed. Christmas eve we got 6"-8" of snow!!! It was crazy, and it still seems like it didnt happen. Im just glad I snapped some pictures. See my photo gallery for the pics. Hopefully the admins will have them approved by the time I post this. If not, check back later.

For most of yall, this is nothing to get suprised about. But we never get snow. The kids enjoyed it, and we had the biggest snowball fight! Its was so much fun. Im just glad it doesnt do this all the time. The clean up process is a mess!!! lol.....

later.
Phillip

PK,
Just think of snow as an excuse to get new toys:

(by the way, that is why I don't live up north anymore)

We got pea sized HAIL last night in Southern California.
Then again, the standard way of predicting weather in Califronia is by traffic reports. Usually, when they say "3-Car Pile-Up on 91" it means a light rain, "4-Car Collision Across All Lanes" means a heavy rain and "3 Jack-Knifed Big Rigs Wrecking a Honda" means a streaker. This morning they said "One Lane Open on 91 due to 8 Car Pile-Up." I was wondering what would cause that, then they said hail. New one on me. Never seen that before.

Darn global warming.

I've been wondering where the snow's been this year! All I've seen is heavy frost.
Congratulations on the perfect timing of the snow storm Phillp.

That's crazy! Must be weird for people who aren't used to it. Supposed to get down to -38 here in a couple days.

Yeah I drove through that snowstorm and freezing cold In SK on New Years day.

Driving through SK is the only way.. But at -30 that is just cruel. The National highway has no protection from the wind, that would be pretty scary..

Glad you made it Tool..

What a time for my high idle solenoid to cack.

They don't call it "The Gap" for nothing...........!

There was however a someone I needed to stop off and see on my way......

She made the trek alot more worthwhile.

It was a miserable pig of a drive though........ Visibility was often nill... The Highway from Fargo North Dakota up across to Bismark was probably the worst. A 4wd fight the whole way.

I crossed into SK at Sherwood.

That is the most hillarious excuse for a border crossing I have ever seen. I thought I had come to a cattle gate!
