I always find that the "true self" comes out in those threads. In a way, you can somewhat see inside a person so to speak, and it shows those who are willing to accept responsibility for their actions and separates them from the ones who have a self entitlement attitude. I don't mind them much now days because it shows me who I can trust and who I can't.

well I had a good friend that worked for the police dept that passed away when he was 21, so dont assume im heartless for police officers. my point was give me the ticket if im speeding, in not 18 im almost 30 now so yes I will take responsibilty for my actions and pay a ticket. I dont need to hear for a half hour what I done wrong. I already knew. ive probably helped out more people for free than most people on here will ever. oh by the way ive got arrested before because they had the wrong guy. some guy done a drive by in a truck like mine so I get pulled over and handcuffed for no reason. that was pretty fun. ive also been verbally bashed by cops that I really dont appreciate when Ive got pulled over.

I don't like it when the police do that either. Sometimes when you've seen so much, I think it comes out of some guys. You never know what's gone on with the other side, and what they have seen so even though it's no excuse, just don't forget that. The guy who is ripping you a new one could very well have seen someone get killed an hour earlier because of the same thing. Again, I'm not making excuses, I'm just saying that it's entirely possible. I appreciate your opinion on the whole thing. Regardless of what many people think, the vast majority of us are out there to make sure you stay safe, not only to protect your well being but also to protect others from you. (I don't mean YOU per se, but you know what I mean.) lol

well for the most part I have alot of respect for the police. I had to see something that I didnt want to see last month. I work for the railroad and we were involved in a fatal accident. the cops got there fast and honestly im really glad they showed up. I didnt want to go back to the person alone. I know lots of them loose their life doing what they love. my friend loved his job. I have a picture of him in his uniform because he was very proud to wear it

C'mon guys. You don't know anything about bashing cops. Go visit a sportbiking site sometime if you really want to see some bashing.
For my part, the police a greatly appreciated. They're doing a job most of us, myself included, wouldn't touch. If an occassional officer is rude, just put it down to him (or her) having a bad day and let it slide. By the way, it has happened to me, but two times in 64 years isn't bad.

I got stopped by an Arkansas cop the other day. I was sweating it because the tags were expired. Turns out he just wanted to ask about the truck and talk diesel for a minute. No mention of the tags at all. Two thumbs up for that cop.
