Where in the World ? breakroom 7/8-7/14 2012
With everyone moving about this summer, I thought we could 'keep in touch' with DTR members from all over....
back from the carnage of Fourth festivities at state line NY/PA:
162 people at a mountain field party, 20 4wheelers with no alcohol means only 3 visits to the ER.
broken collar bone on a smart guy nephew working for NSA/Army. needed to report in the next day.
12 y.o. with 5 inner/9 outer stitches due to helmet collision with a parked loader. father passing out when son needed stitches.
my son bought a harley (I'm worried now) then was dehydrated and later rolled a 4 wheeler five times. sore but no injury. hope the message sticks in his head about caution.
broken rib -football pass sent past tree, man tackled by tree.
42 pounds of explosives/80 pounds fireworks mortars/ 100 pound wired finale- not one single injury. 65 minute fireworks show.
back from a real mountain in PA today -230 mile bike ride for a picnic.
saw 45 in law siblings or cousins cook, eat, play, swim, fish and talk.
awesome. we are going back down tomorrow and riding around some lakes.
son wanted to come, so we came the 100 miles home. just so he didn't have to ride all that way alone.
things you do as parents..

Hey, some early birds on here this morning - - - or should I say some late birds???
Heidi, your stories are always a grin - - you have some fun in between all that work.
T'Rad -- sounds like you may be lost this morning. Happens some times.
Then, there is Scotty - - Scotty, Scotty - - what do we do with you? Those smokin' hot eggos were good, snitched some of the oatmeal from Twin - - more than he could have eaten and I am hungry. But you messed up the ph00 again - - made me dump the pot and make fresh. Oh, loved the fruit - - very nice. .....
OK, I am gone, busy day. Ya'll have a great one.
Bob

Finally getting your STD test results back?
Uh huh... a school system over in Detroit obtained fresh fruit for the students not too long ago. It was supposed to have come from California. SUPPOSED to. It actually came from Mexico. Where they fertilized their fields with raw human waste. The whole school system came down with Hepatitis 'A'. Knowing the person that gave you the fruit, still think your fruit was good this morning Bob?

Mornin'
In "recovery mode" after Wifey's nephew's afternoon wedding and reception last night.
If "you're only as old as you feel", I must be pre-historic this morning.
Coffee and cold pizza for breakfast, great 'mornng after' meal.
Been off all week, Tomorrow back to work

Still stuck at home rigging the double. Kink was about ten years of maintenance to catch up on. Hope to have it rolling in another week for about a 400 mile test run with multiple stops at friends with wrenches, just in case.
Hope the new sticks are here by then. The originals with 200k on em are getting noisy and smelly.

Went and took 6 trees down to saw into my 8X10 beams for the new quarters. Burned myself on the chainsaw muffler in the process too. Handsome blisters!

As for tryin' to give you a bad name...we all know its past that...we are all trying hard to help you clean it up. Thats why I censored the [censored].
Yeah, thats it. Trying to help a guy out...yeah.

'Help a guy out'... just like you helped ol' FiverBobby out? I bet he wasn't expecting a crane to show up when you told him you'd send him a new hedge trimmer!
And I KNOW I wasn't expecting THIS when you said you'd send me a new chainsaw!
Enough 'help' awready!
