Whats the Best Bug Juice/Washer Fluid you have used.
As the title states.
So far I have tried Rain-X and it makes more of a mess even on a basically clean windshield.
I bought some cheap Walmart blue summer wash...about the same.
Got a case of washer fluid from Costco...about the same.
So what kind cleans the bugs off and cleans the dust off without streaks?
I am not expecting my wipers and a washer fluid to clean off dried bugs but when something big hits, it would be nice to clear it, not smear it and have to use a lot of the washer fluid just to get it looking ok.
Changed out the wiper blades a few times as well.
I guess I could try driving in reverse.

I hate rain-x
I have found that a good cleaning on the windshield and good blades goes a long way with the cheap stuff. I usually used the 1.50 Wally world junk.
I also found a great way to clean the windshield and remove all of the road grime.
I use a Mr Clean Magic Eraser (just dont let it hit the paint) and a little soapy water. Scrub til clean, then a good windexing afterwards.

I use regular rain-x on mine, along with rain-x washer fluid. And I'll usually toss in a little extra alcohol in the winter time for added defrosting. Always worked well for me...but I also think that the condition of your wipers are more important than the fluid.

summer I cut the blue stuff from walmart with water.
winter, I use the stuff straight.
something hits my windshield, I wash it then.
change wiper blades every fall.
Clean the windshield thoroughly and rain-x

For years I just use plain water with a teaspoon or a table spoon of dishwasher detergent added. Tea spoon for small containers and table spoon for large containers. This cleans of the bug grease too. Adding too much dishwasher detergent only makes for bubbles and does not make the glass any cleaner.

I use equal parts of ammonia, alcohol and water. Cleans wicked good and it's cheap.

Uhhhh...I am talking about the instant a large bug hits the glass...as in SPLAT and its splattered all over right in my sight line. The Rain-X washer fluid and the others all seem to take a lot of 'pushes on the washer fluid button' to get it sort of clean to see til I get to a place where I can do the more thorough cleaning...by hand.
I actually change my wipers spring and fall. I use teflon winter blades that have a silicone sleeve over the metal parts. Then I go to a heavy duty metal framed summer blade/wiper from Canadian Tire...up here eh.
In the fall I start adding -45C washer fluid.
I was just wondering if there was some other washer fluid that might work more efficiently at clearing BIG BUG splatters. Bees, grasshoppers, gophers.
Having Stan on my hood would not be a good idea...his sombrero would block more of my line of sight. Probably get pulled over by INS too.
I use the regular Rain-X on the windshield, side glass and mirrors often.
