DO NOT substitute spruce grouse for chicken. Dosen't taste anywhere near as good. Trust me.

Warmed up a bit here. To a whoppin' 5*F. Truck is sittin out in the cold while garage does duty as an armory. Got some guns that have been neglected for too long. Bad on my part. All will be better soon though.

Spagetti for dinner or left over meatloaf depending on ambition level.

Dad got his tractor done over the weekend while I was out of town. Originally he was gonna wait and have me help with the tune up but he got to anxious and did it. He just wanted to drive it really bad. Wheel bearings are fine, axle shafts are fine, front drive shaft is fine. I replaced all the front end parts last winter. Noise is coming from the front somewhere. I'm really leaning on it being a bad tire now. I've had problems with these goodyears since I bought them 2 yrs ago. I'd love to get a recording of the noise it makes at 70-75 mph so all can hear it. Thats the only time it makes the noise, every other speed its quiet. Buddy of mine has a brand new set of take offs from his 08 that I'm gonna try for a day and see if it is my tires.

Could it be a balance issue with the tires?

Could be that too but its not worth the money to try and balance these tires now, they have 63K on them now. The roads are very bad around here, I wouldn't be surprised if I had a bent wheel, out of round tire, or something like that.

I've heard alot of good things about Centramatics, might have to give them a try when I get my new tires.

I put a link the last post. Get them before you get the new tires, that's where the difference will be felt. I think they're about $200 for a single rear wheel truck.

You'll like'em. When I put mine on it felt like the tires were glued to the road. The tires will feel different on bumpy roads, not as much rebound in the shocks. The balancers will be trying to compensate for that too. It's not bad, just different.

Blah blah blah - - promises, promises, promises. You will be so frozen in up there you won't go out of the house. Those suckers will be dripping water as they pass over the state line.

Now, go squeeze that big girl for me - - bet she is getting big like her daddy. Cutey pie. (I meant the daughter, not the wife - - don't you dare Punta Dunta I was calling her big - - - )

Evening all.

Just finished some supper. Rotisserie chicken in burritos. Yum.

Now I'm just relaxing, watching the History channel and fixing on reading for class.

Sounds like everyone ate pretty hearty tonight.

Good deal.

I'll be around.

Jb
