Nope, I just moved to Hobbs from Las Cruces last May so I don't know very many people here yet.

I aint gonna argue about it, some of the best ranchers I personally know are from Kansas... I have respect for the family ran farmers and ranchers.

Although I went to college with some pretty big name ranchers from Texas. It's different though when it's a commercial operation albeit cool they've had land in the family that long.

May as well just join Mexico... I'd bet 25% of the Texas population is "undocumented"

I lived in Texas for about a year between Houston, San Antonio and Wichita Falls, not really my thing.

I like the north better. Summers are mild, winters are great.

Have you ever heard the Ray Wylie Hubbard song "Screw you, we're from Texas." It's not a feeling, it's a way of life.

Thanks to the rest of the country's apathetic attitude for the last few decades.

Most Texans, at least this one, dont brag about being a Texan until we get outside the state. When you are in Texas it would be like singing to the choir. Once the boundaries of the great state are crossed, it is imperative to inform all others that Texas is the greatest State in the Union. I laugh when I hear others getting all upset when Texans show their pride. Please, dont be jealous!

Famous Alaskan bumper sticker from the North Slope oil rush days:

Happiness is an Oklahoman headed south with a Texan under each arm.

I do get a kick out of texans when they come up here, we used to have charters go to some of the farms, they were always surprised when they found out our smallest farms were over 2000 acres. You really can't grasp how BIG this place is. If we cut our state in half it would make Texas the 3'rd largest.
TreeFarm we have that bumpersticker at a few of the bars around the pipeline.
