See there, you had the right answers so I voted.
I prefer oil cause I know when the fire goes out, oil will not leak in and fill my house up like gas can. I have a little recirc pump on the tank to run the oil through a water filter every so often. It has worked very well so far.
May go electric one day when I rewire the place. Hey, I work for the power company. What can I say?

If one of the admins sees maybe. I kinda put all the electric styles in the group of electricity. Base board, radiant, space heaters, heat pumps (unless elec + gas/ oil fired)

Somebody voted for Hydro Electric. I am really curious about it. I assume it is a private water/ generation source (thats why I included it) Love to here about it. (should have made this poll public!)
I am also curious about you geothermal guys, My granddad's place in Idaho has all artesian hot spring radiant floors, pool, and hot tub. And irrigation wells for the Alfalfa.

Wood fire only. If we ever get around to picking up a propane tank we could use that ... got our central heat/air put in about 3 yrs ago but just use the a/c.
