What do you do with old Trophies ??
I've got a bunch of trophies from a couple of Cars that I had, but now all I have are the memories, and a few good pictures. One car ('72 'Cuda) only took 3 awards, but the other car ( '70 AAR 'Cuda ) was in 32 Shows, and took 37 awards.
I hate to just pitch'em out, but I'm getting ready to move, and I'm having a hard time figuring it out.....
I just don't know. What would you do with them ?? Any suggestions ??

I hear you on this one.
My family is in the purebred livestock business and have shown cattle, horses etc for years.
Therefore we have collected a huge amount of trophies over the 35+ years they have been in the business.
My father wants to keep them all!!! They have a quite large glass display case in their rec room where a lot of the are displayed.
Secretly, my mother has been slowly throwing them out over the years because their are dozens in boxes and so forth in the basement.
My sugestion would be, keep a few "important ones" that have some sort of value or meaning to you, donate the rest of them back to your local car club or show or whatever.
Lots of times clubs will get new plates made up to put on them and reuse them.
Worth a try anyway.

Sounds like a part for a movie, She has been secretly throwing them away not knowing that he has been secretly hiding rolled up $100.00 bills in the base of them.
Back to the car club is a good idea.
'On the 70 AAR 'Cuda were you able to have the exhaust exit in front of the rear wheels or was it illegal like it was in California?

Here's a picture I "Borrowed" from the I-net just to show what my AAR 'Cuda looked like, but in a different color.
Mine was factory Purple with White interior. Motor was a 340 with 3x2 bbl carbs, and a 4-speed.
Like everyone says, "I shoulda never sold it !!" But, Oh well........

I had about 50-60 of them..drag racing..corvettes and 383 mopars..one day I had to move because I sold my home..I gave away many of them to local young kids in town and Neighborhood ( they loved them) & kept a few..but ended up throwing away the rest..now 15 years later..I wish I'd kept more...

Make a plaque and pop all the bottom pieces that say what they are for off and put them on there! And either recycle the trophies, give them away, or trash them...

In the 70's we all had Trans-Am style cars, I had a 1970 Boss 429 and used to race all of the Camaros & Firebirds. I paid a ridiculous $6000.00 for it.
If you remember what they were, I bought a Holley 4500 Dominator and I paid $199.00.
Also #3310 780CFM Holley’s cost me $35.00 a piece.
Didn’t it have a Hurst Hypo Shifter?

Yep, we did this w/tons of Bass fishing trophies...gave the actual trophy to a local trophy shop for reuse. But now the question is what in the world does one do w/all the plaques. We were able to fit about 10 plaques per the wooden style trophy. Yes, they're all really cool but I guess one has to decide to keep or trash!

My Girl cousin bought the same one in 1970 and when she brought it over to show me we found the exhaust outlets in a box in the trunk she said the dealer told her they were not legal here in California because they exited before the rear wheels. I installed them for her. The car had a Lift off hood with 340 Six-Pack on it.
