ok, i am going to be in the market for a new bass boat in the spring and i am starting my research now. i want to know who makes the best bass boat. i am looking the manufacturer's. let's hear it.

Ranger without a doubt. I had a 461vs commanche, you cannot beat the ride in rough water.$$$ but you get what you pay for.

I have a triton 196dc and love it. The rangers are overpriced and under performers. If you want the fastest on the lake look at the Bumblebees or the Allisons'. The Allisons are the fastest that I know of. A 150 hp rigged Allison will run up into the mid 70's which is as fast as some of the 200 and 225 rigged boats. The ones with 225's can reach to 115 mph.

i have never heard of those brands. i live in the northwest so that may be why i have never heard of them. can you give more details or websites?

unless they have changed in the last few years allisons have little to no room on the front deck. And being where the guy who writes the check fishes I wouldn't own one. Gambler and Bumblebee both are fast and have resonable layouts. Gamblers back deck is slightly small but the fit and finish on these boats rival any out there.
