Well....probably the same as everyone else. lol Drop a few hundo on fireworks for the boys. Put a brisket on about 4 in the AM to smoke for about 10-12 hours. Sit through the day and guard my stuff so the three boys don't blow it up or start it on fire. Find some shade and watch the disturbance while sipping a cold beverage. Eat and then begin the monstrous cleanup with little to no help from the youngsters who made it in the first place.

Or...go camping and try to keep the boys from starting the mountains on fire. Put a prime rib on the Weber for about a 2-3 hour smoke while sitting in the shade sipping a beverage or speeding the Rhino around and waiting for cleanup duty.

What you gonna do?

Folks should be coming up. The village of Luther just down the road has their Logging Days fest and firworks. Nothing huge, but gets you out of the house. Get to watch somebody else cut wood...

About six racks of ribs, 3 pork butts a few gallons of beans, slaw, and taters and beer. Followed by a thousand bucks worth of artillery shells and 500g aerial cakes tied together with 100' of cannon fuse.
That's wholes sale price. Would be closer to 3 grand if retail.
Generally lasts about 30 min.s. Another hr for the smoke to clear if there's no wind!!

So now you're going to blame your babbling on the surgery?

Drinking some beer by the pool and getting a sun burn more than likely, cuz I will forget to put on sunscreen and the wife will tell me I'm starting to get red and I won't really listen, because I will also be grilling and when I do feel the burn kick in it will be too late........ well at least that is what happened last year so I am betting on a repeat
