I guess it's official, bought a new truck yesterday.

It is a '06 2500 Mega Cab SLT 4x4
6 speed tranny,

Seems to have about all the options (cloth interior, can u get leather in a SLT?)

power sunroof, power pedals, fog lights, tow hooks, alluminum wheels, tow package, anti spin, bug deflector etc.

I kept the '99 so it is still around as well. I think I am going to keep it fairly stock for now, wait a while for the BOMBS.

I am open to sugestions on accessories though.

This could mean a few more BOMBS for the '99 though.

I hope the 06 is a as good as the '99

I just couldn't turn down the deal they gave me.
They REALLY want to move those '06's out.

the way the emissions sound on the 07's makes ya want to put one in storage till ya need it an avoid all htat junk....... good luck keepin it stock

I'm not sure if you can get the leather option on SLT models. Its not worth it in my opinion. I have it, in my opinion its kind of cheesy and less comfortable than the choth interior. Not worth the extra $.

I know I know I need pics as soon as possible. I won't be picking it up until late next week sometime, even next weekend. I have meetings 500 miles away 'till wlate wednesday, so it will take me till then to get everything in order, insurance, new plates etc. I will get pictures then.

I believe you're right, you need to get the Laramie to get the leather. (I think)

I'm hoping to avoid any major BOMBS as to preserve my warranty. Besides it is still open season on the '99

I'm having some very nice heavy rubber with Stainless Dodge Emblem's on them mudflaps sent to the dealership to be installed, I think I will also spring for wheel well liners while it is is still at the dealership.

I want to get fender flares installed, possibly Bushwacker style? I'm trying to preserve the paint as much as possible as I run a lot of gravel.

Anyone have any other sugestions for accessories I should have installed while it is being prepped at the dealer?

Get some N-Fab Nerf Bars with the 6 Step!!! Get a XZT Tow Box------the Truck will really accelerate better with the 6 speed with it!!!! Runs Smoother and I get 1mpg (Hand Calculated) while Towing with it, so I know that it should do better empty..... Get the HEAVY DUTY Floor Mats that will hold like a half gallon of water!! Get some new -- bigger tires so that the RPM's do not kill you- - - - Genos Cup Smoothie is a Must with the Floor/Rubber Cup Holders!!!!! Ahhhhhh I can spend your money all day long! JB
