Well.....

It looks like its a new adventure for me!

Im 99% sure my next job is secured. Waiting on the info from the new company and then its a sealed deal.

Heading to Wellsboro PA. Never been in that part of the country. Should be interesting.

Good friend of mine and my lil bro are already up there, have rented a 3br house and have a room standing by for me. Looking like the 1st week of August ill be making the trip.

I wanted to haul the camper up there, but was told that it wouldnt make the winter. At least Ill have it to use for my forays back home

Its gonna be a Shell job. Running gas lines in that big ole Marcellus Shale. I aint never pipelined in mountains or the snow, should be an interesting change from South Louisiana/Texas/Offshore.

Was told to prepare for 2+ years up there. Looking forward to it!

Thanks Shorts

The wife and kiddos are gonna stay at home. Its gonna be a 4 or 5 week rotation with a flight home for a week. I also have the option of flying them up so they will be able to visit too.

I know its gonna be cold. But I have never really seen any "real" snow and Im looking forward to it. Well the 1st winter anyway....

It was probably as hot here today as it gets down there. 95 with 80-something percent humidity. I managed!

I admit it.. at 100°F I would be so red in the face and sick I wouldn't be able to move. Did that once, Offshore Louisiana and about died. I worked at night instead and it was still hot.

I don't even OWN shorts. If you can't weld in them, I don't wear them. No sneakers either, only work boots.
