Is it Friday yet? I think I'll find a hole to crawl into and hide.

83 in the lanai right now - - light cool breeze - - perfect for a good tan and ice tea. The ladies (those craze gabby red headed storks) were in the yard trying to find some bugs in the lawn. They are so funny to listen to and watch. Had to come in, change clothes into my party stuff and go help setup and get the sound system up and running. Later.

It's my pot and I'll stir it if I want to. If you're not careful, I'll stir your's as well!
Good morning from Paradise. Another glorious day is dawning.
Thanks for the coffee. Still nobody around, so they must be recovering fro a certain infamous party.
As soon as it is light enough will be loading up the truck with picks, shovels, chainsaw etc and heading out to go and do some work on my out of town property. Taking a friend with us who is allowed to come because her and her husband make an awesome potato salad which they bring for lunch. This place is at an 8,000 foot altitude and the air is pristine and smells like pine and fir.
See yuh.

Goood Morning diesel sniffers and good guys!
let loose the wee leprecauns to do my firewood and work on my jeep. well, two standing on another's shoulders that look like my husband. Anyways, "they" are reaching the bolts I could not. snow, freezing winds and a frozen heat line in the barn have me hiding in the house. put out feed for the songbirds who are hiding in the trees. Forecast is for freezing rain this PM.
Cougar, hope you get to Bob's fast! sounds like you need a break!! sending kitty treats..

Good morning all -- -- just out checking the out-of-doors. Wow, what a morning - - gorgeous. Nothing out of order - - all implanted screening devices still showing proper operation - - no "guests."
So, grab some tidbits and ph00.........................GONE.

I didn't make it to the party. Was too busy yesterday rolling up 4 miles of fence wire in between loading alfalfa bales to get hauled home. Got in around 730 Thursday night and 7 last night.
4.7? I guess they don't do much other than cause problems. Like the thrust bearing being weak. Or is the ticking from the cold oil caused by the cold coolant?
Taxes came in this week. Going to see if I can't get a parts truck bought. If it runs good enough I may just keep running it and continue the search for a transmission for Owen. Wonder if the 6 speed manual they used behind the new hemi for a couple years would bolt in?....
Looking at high 70s for the weekend.
That didn't go as planned. Second gear is out of that truck. It does have 4 good Cooper STT's (2 new) but $1500 asking price is way too high. Basically it's a $500 truck is someone wants to turn around and drop another $2,000 on it. Too bad, as it's got a magnum 318 in it.
Stopped at the pawn shop to look at pool cues, decided on a used one, and ended up bringing home a .243 in the process.
Jeep got new oil, fluids and stuff. Check engine light came on, not running smooth but some power with careful shifting. No heat, block cool after 90miles. Loud ticking from engine. Me thinks thermo gasket stuck open. Have to poke around for ticking problem. Me thinks engine may leave this world shortly. Jeep must have know tax refund came in.....

5 hours of scraping, chemicals, wiping out and trying to get metal back to metal. that was just the oil pan, valve cover and vents. have to actually vacuum the waxy sledge out of the valve train. back hurts, project for another day, but could not find any mechanical problem with da jeep.
ticking has to be plugged oil port and loose rockers.
looks like I got suckered with an engine loaded with spray foam. new to me.
wise to sawdust and tranny fluid.....
hubby off to emergency coverage at the ski resort, me and the tv tonight.
tired.....
good to see NE pop on....
